Here is a short vido where Dr Mitch, chiropractor, talks about a cervical or contour pillow, and why it is important. A neck pillow, another name for the previous (sometimes you'll hear "chiropractic pillow"), has a wave like contour to it or a pocket the head sits in. The Arc4Life Pillow, for example, has a pocket that cradles the head.
